Be afraid.... very afraid... this is scary
This.... This is insanity on the rise. All of these "songs", riffs, melodies etc have been written, recorded and "produced" at my homestudio. I have done everything myself without any input from anyone, and I did this as an "escape" from the more serious stuff & the restrictions I had to consider when I wrote songs to/with the other bands.
There is a lot of crappy instruments & weird programming.... but it`s meant to be this way. I never wanted it to be "exceptional", "Great", "marvelous" or "perfect". This is what was on my mind at that particular moment in time.
If you want to have a laugh or take a trip into the strange mind of Kenneth Brastad... well... Check out these "weirdo-Tunes".
Breaking Free.mp3
"Breaking Free" was actually written to a project "I laid to rest" before it even had begun. Not that "insane" as the other ones below.
I hate You You piece of shit.mp3
I wrote this one after I saw a youtube video of a dude screaming "I fucking Hate You" to the camera. I used that scream as a sample at the beginning, and it all just ended up like this :)
jarhead Part III.mp3
"Jarhead" is inspired by the movie (Obviously) and I recorded this one right after watching that movie. The strange part is that I didn`t like the movie that much hehe....
Your Eyes.mp3
"Your Eyes" is a progressive little tune I somehow wanted to write a serious version of. I really like the verse/chorus idea.
Subway City.mp3
My ex. girlfriend wrote a lot of lyrics. When she handed me this one, I decided to write something that might fit.... I still feel that it became a bit too "poppy" tune with fragments of "Bon Jovi" here and there... but again... A serious recording of this one might have created a nice little song.
oompf.mp3
Again, a somewhat progressive tune. Instrumental all the way & combining a lot of elements that have inspired me throughout the years.
nothingness.mp3
I am not the greatest singer in the world & will never deny that. But even though this song only contain me and my ideas... I still feel that there is something here.... I like the song myself & would probably have done so if someone else presented it to me. One of the reasons that it`s important to me might be that I wrote it just a week or so after my mother died.
let the dream die.mp3
Another weird little tune. Instrumental & progressive with samples of Jack Black here and there + some strange samples from the movie "Hostel".
hate me.mp3
I was pissed.... fedup & sick of a lot of things the day this thing was born. I guess you can hear it ;)
Funked up.mp3
This is just a joke... nothing serious at all. I was totally fedup with the song "Dragostea Din Tei", also known as the "numa, numa" song. I just had to write something to get that shit off my mind.... this was the result.
